Ingredients:
Yams
Butter
Brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the yams in a large pan of water until just tender.
Don't cook these too much because you will be slicing them.
After the yams are slightly cooked, take them out of the pan and
let them cool. Peel the skin off.
While the yams are cooling, take out a large frying pan.
Melt a stick of butter in the pan, then slowly add brown sugar,
stirring carefully to mix the sugar and butter.
You may need more butter or sugar depending on the size of the yams.
Carefully add the sliced yams to the pan and spoon the mixture
over the yams. You will continue to coat the yams with the mixture.
Turn the heat off until ready to serve and then heat slightly. Serve warm.
