Blend:
1 cup oleo, softened ( or 1/2 butter, 1/2 oleo)
1 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Sift together than add to above:
2 c flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Stir or knead if the dough becomes too stiff:
1 c quick oats
1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c butterscotch chips
1/2 c coconut, flaked
1/2 c walnuts
1/2 c cornflakes, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Form the dough into balls a little larger than a golf ball. Press down lightly with the heel of the palm to flatten slightly on an ungreased Cooke sheet.
Bake 350º for 15 minutes
Dough can be stored in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
You can substitute coconut with dried fruit (except cranberries)
