CAKE:
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oatmeal
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

FROSTING
6 tsp. melted butter
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. evaporated milk
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Pour boiling water over oatmeal. Let cool 20 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients. Pour into floured greased cake pan. Bake until toothpick comes out clean.

Mix frosting ingredients together. Pour over cake while hot.
