1 cup chopped walnuts
8 ounces mixed greens or spinach or both
3 Tblsp. butter
3/4 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 lb. feta
1 Tblsp. freshly ground pepper (or a little less)

Dressing:
2 tsp. sugar
2 cloves garlic (if big use less)
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 small onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 bunch flat leaf parsley (Italian parsley)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, saute nuts. Mix together sugar and pepper. Add sauteed nuts, berries, and feta. Toss with greens.

Blend dressing in food processor or blender until smooth. Toss with salad just before serving.

This has a little peppery kick with the sugared nuts, but very good!
