2-1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon sale
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 sticks butter (room temperature)
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
1-1/2 teaspoons instant coffee mixed with 2 tablespoons hot water
18 ounces chocolate chips
1-1/2 cups chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350
Mix flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon and put aside.
Beat butter, sugars, chocolate syrup and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time. Beat until smooth about 5 minutes. Add dry ingredients and coffee mixture. Mix well. Add chocolate chips and nuts and mix by hand with wooden spoon until well mixed.

Drop on baking sheet lined with parchment paper by rounded tablespoons about 2 inches apart and make for approximately 15 minutes. Let cool 1-2 minutes on cookie sheets and then transfer to wire rack and cool completely
