3 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
10 oz milk
1 egg
1 Tsp. Vinegar
2 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg in bowl with a fork. Add milk and vinegar and let stand. Sift first 5 ingredients together. Make a well in center; add liquid and mix well with fingers. Turn onto a floured board and knead in raisins. Place in a loaf pan that has been greased and floured. Wet loaf with milk using the back of your hand, then sprinkle with sugar before baking. Bake 10 minutes at 400° then 35 minutes at 375°.
