1 1/2 cup boiling water
1 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar(packed)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt

Topping:
1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
6 tbsp. butter
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Pour Boiling water over oats and mix well. Cream oleo and sugar then add eggs. Stir in oatmeal. Add dry ingredients. Bake 35 minutes in 350 º oven.
When baked leave in pan and spread with topping.
Topping: Heat ingredients until butter melts and spread over cake. Broil until golden.
Bake in tart pan and cut into squares.
