2 cups flour
1 cup soft butter
1/2 cup confectionary sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 16 oz bag chocolate chips
1 tbsp. shortening
chopped nuts - if desired
Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, butter, confectionary sugar and vanilla - blend well
Shape into 2 inch logs
Bake at 350 deg for 10-12 minutes

Melt chocolate chips and shortening over hot water
Dip one end of each cookie roll into the chocolate - then in nuts if desired
Chill until firm
