2 Eggs
1/4 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
1/2 (20 oz) Can Sliced Pineapple (drained)
5 Maraschino Cherries (halved)
1/2 Cup Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/8 tsp Salt
1/2 Cup White Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Butter (melted)
1/2 tsp Almond Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325.

Melt 1/2 cup butter & put in an 11x7" baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over butter.

Arrange pineapple slices to cover bottom. Place cherry in holes of pineapples.

Sift together flour, baking powder & salt.

Beat eggs well in mixer. Alternate adding sugar & flour mixture gradually, beating well after each addition. Add 1 TBLS melted butter & almond extract.

Spread mixture over pineapples.

Bake 30-35 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes before inverting on to serving platter.
