4 cans Campbell's soup consommé (3 cans of water)
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Pepper (no salt)
French baguettes or heavy dark bread

Directions:
Slice onions (remove center core as it is bitter). Melt butter in large heavy saucepan. Add onions and black pepper. Saute until onions are opaque, stirring continually. Add 4 cans of consommé plus 3 cans of water. Add Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for hours; the longer the better!

Serving:
Dish soup into microwavable soup bowls. On top of each bowl place one round slice of either French baguette or heavy dark bread. Grate Swiss chess on top of the bread (make sure cheese is not slices or processed as it will melt away). Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes until bubbly.
