3 sticks Butter, softened
1- 8oz. package cream cheese, softened
3 cups sugar
3 cups flour
6 large eggs
3 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar. Add vanilla. On low speed of mixer, add eggs alternating with flour. Bake in 10 in. Tube or Bundt pan. Place in cold oven at 300º for 1 1/2 - 2 hour. (I found it to be closer to 1 1/2). Test with toothpick. Place cream cheese icing on cooled cake. Can substitute almond for vanilla.
