1 cup cooked apples
1/3 cup sugar
a few grains salt
cinnamon to taste
touch of nutmeg
2 1/2 tbsp. flour

CRUST:
4 tbsp. oil
4 tbsp. water
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c flour, sifted

Directions:
Directions:
APPLES: mix apples, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in saucepan. Heat to boiling; add flour slowly and cook 1/2 min.

CRUST: In mixing bowl,stir oil, water and salt; add flour. Mix and stir hard until dough pulls away from sides of bowl. Roll out 1/2 inch into oblong shape approximately 8-9 x 12 inches. Cutting from 12 inch side, divide dough into 3 strips. Place spoonful of filling on one end of strips; fold other end of strip over the filling, keeping edges as even as possible. Dip fingers in flour. Press down to seal all around outside edges. Press down to spread the fruit evenly. Fry in small amounts of oil heated to low to medium heat to brown. Turn and brown other side. Drain and clean skillet out with paper towel after each skillet full.
