2 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup white corn syrup
1/4 cup hot water
2 beaten egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 nuts

Optional: food coloring and nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the sugar, white corn syrup and water to a thread stage (hard boil).

Pour 2/3 over 2 beaten egg whites in the mixer on low. Add vanilla.

Return 1/3 syrup over heat - re-heat to boiling and add to the rest of the mixture until stiff slowly add nuts.

Drop by tsps on to wax paper and cool.
