1/2 cup butter
3/8 cup white sugar
3/8 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 salt
1/2 tsp baking soda - dissolve in 1 tbsp hot water
1 1/8 cup flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 package chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the butter, white sugar and brown sugar. Stir in the egg, salt, soda, flour, oatmeal and chocolate chips. Mix well and drop from tsp on to baking sheet.

Bake 375 degrees until set and light brown.
