3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. corn starch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1/4 c. butter
1-1/2 tsp. lemon zest
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. sour cream
Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch & salt. Whisk to combine. Whisk in the milk & heat to boiling over medium heat. Beat the egg yolks slightly & temper into the hot mixture. Bring to a boil until thickened. Remove from heat & add butter, juice & zest. Cool to room temperature. Stir in sour cream until smooth.
Can be put in pudding glasses or doubled for a 9" deep dish pie. Cool completely in refrigerator.
