Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Can use fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches. Those are our favorites.

3 cups mashed fruit
3 cups sugar
3 cups cream and half and half. (You can decide how much cream and half and half that you want to make up the 3 cups)
1/4 cup lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Mash the fruit well so you don't have big chunks. Measure 3 cups. Add the sugar, cream and lemon juice. Fill the rest of your container to the fill line with whole milk, 2 % or more half and half.

Follow directions for freezing. (Keep a lot of ice and rock salt on and around the container.)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Our traditional Salmon Bakes at the cabin usually were capped off with homemade ice cream and chocolate chip cookies! Well, pies, cakes, cobblers and brownies were also known to appear!

The ice cream, cobblers and pies became extra fun if we happened to be there when blueberry season was on and we could pick them fresh at the Blueberry Farm right before the cabin at the foot of Mt. Si.
