2 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp water
2 Tbsp coconut oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
3 scallions; whites and greens, separated
¼ cup gluten free soy sauce
½ cup honey
2 limes, juiced
1 tbsp. sesame oil
1-2 tbsp. chili flakes
2 lbs. chicken wings, tips removed

Preheat oven to 350F

Make a slurry with the cornstarch and water, adding more water, if needed. Set aside. Heat coconut oil in a sauté pan. Toss in the garlic, ginger, and scallion whites. Cook 30 seconds.
Stir in soy sauce, honey, lime juice, sesame oil and chili flakes. Whisk in cornstarchslurry and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, allow to cool. (The sauce may be made ahead of time.)
Season chicken wings with salt and pepper. Place in a rimmed baking dish and bake for 20 minutes. Pour sauce over the wings and bake another 20 minutes or until the wings are cooked through and the sauce is sticky.
Allow to cool slightly and top with scallion greens.
