2 sticks unsalted butter
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 big Tbsp. Crisco

Beat all ingredients together. This will be thick, but comes together as you stir it. To can add more milk to thin it out or it tends to tear the cake. Add favorite food coloring.
