1 3-ounce package softened cream cheese
1 stick butter or margarine
1 cup flour

Combine ingredients, refrigerate 30 minutes, divide into 24 equal parts placing dough in small muffin tins to form cups

Filling:
1 egg slightly beaten
2/3 cup brownulated sugar
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
dash salt
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Combine wet ingredients and divide equally into unbaked cups.

Bake at 350 degrees 20-25 minutes - tops will crack
