1 pkg. frozen hash browns (cubed style)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 cups sour cream
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated

Topping:
2 cups cornflake crumbs
1/4 cup butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Defrost potatoes. Saute onions in some of the butter. Combine all the rest of ingredients and place in a 9x13 pan. Bake at 325º for 30-40 minutes or until bubbly on the sides. In the last 15 min. of baking, top with cornflake mixture.

I have tried this with the light sour cream and healthy cream of chicken soup, but it ends up too runny. The best way to lighten it up is just to use the light sour cream.
