1/2 c. sugar
dash allspice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
ground nutmeg
3 eggs, separated
2 c. whole milk
1 c. heavy cream
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar & spices: divide in half. Beat egg whites until firm. Add 1/2 of the sugar mixture & mix. Beat egg yolks & add remaining 1/2 of sugar mixture. Fold yolks into whites. Add cream & milk. Add rum, if desired to flavor. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
