½ cup margarine
½ cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups sifted flour

Filling
½ cup margarine
⅓ cup Karo dark corn syrup
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 cup chopped pecans

Mix margarine and sugar. Stir in eggs yolks, extract, and flour. Press evenly in tart shells or mini muffin cups. Bake 400º for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool

Filling
Bring to a boil a boil the margarine, corn syrup, and confectioners sugar. Stir in the pecans and spoon into the shells.. Return to oven at 350º for 5 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
