1 PACKAGE DRY YEAST
3 1/4 CUPS FLOUR
1/4 CUP SUGAR
3/4 TEASPOON SALT
1/2 CUP MASHED POTATOES
1/4 CUP WARM WATER
1 EGG
1/2 CUP MILK ROOM TEMP
2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER SOFTENED

ADD INGREDIENTS TO BREAD MACHINE IN ORDER SHOWN. SET ON DOUGH CYCLE. WHEN COMPLETE TURN OUT ONTO FLOURED SURFACE. AND LET REST. ROLL OUT SHEET TO ABOUT 1/4 INCH THICK. CUT OUT DOUGHNUT SHAPE. LET RISE. PREHEAT OIL TO 375 DEGREES FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN 1-2 MINUTES EACH SIDE. DRAIN. GLAZE OR SPRINKLE WITH SUGAR.
