1 lb. spaghetti
4 chicken breasts
1 large onion
7 oz. mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4 or 5 slices bacon
1/4 cup dry white wine
2/3 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1 apple
Butter or oil
Salt and pepper.

Directions:
Directions:
Mince onion, slice mushrooms; peel and mince apple. Cook bacon, leave bacon grease in pan, add a bit of butter and quickly brown chicken breasts. Transfer them to a casserole dish. Cook onion, mushrooms and apple in butter and bacon fat. Crumble bacon in, pour in white wine; add soup and cheddar cheese. Pour over chicken breasts. Cook at 350º for 45 minutes to an hour.
Serve on top of spaghetti.
