1 c. butter or margarine 4 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 2/3 cup finely chopped onion
2 1/4 cups flour 2 cups finely chopped mushrooms
1/4 tsp. cayenne 4 tbsps. flour
1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. paprika 2 tsp. dijon mustard
2 - 4 1/2 oz. cans devilled ham
1 egg slightly beaten

Whip butter and cream cheese in a bowl. Add flour, salt, cayenne pepper, and paprika. Mix until it forms a ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour. Melt butter in saucepan. Add mushrooms and onion and saute 3-4 mins. Blend in 4 tbsp. flour. Cook for 2 mins. more and remove from heat. Stir in all remaining ingredients except egg. Preheat oven to 400º.

Roll dough out to 1/8 inch thickness on floured board. Cut into 2/12 inch rounds. Spoon 1/2 tsp. of filling onto each round. Fold rounds in half and crimp closed with fork. Place on greased sheets and brush with beaten egg. Bake 10 mins. till golden.
