2--1/2- 3 lbs cut up bone in chicken pieces
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º. Rinse chicken parts and pat dry. In oven melt butter with oil in 9x13 baking pan. Mix flour and seasonings in large zip-lok bag. Shake pieces in bag and place skin side down in heated oil and butter. Cook uncovered for 30 minutes. Turn chicken pieces and cook for another 30 minutes.

This is an old recipe from an early cookbook that I was given in 1966. When our family was large I used to do two 9x13 pans for a meal!
