3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup evaporated milk
3/4 T cider vinegar
1 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 cup molasses

Directions:
Directions:
stir together flour, baking soda, salt and spices

combine evaporated milk and vinegar

cream shortening and sugar thoroughly add egg and molasses

beat well, add liquid ingredients and dry ingredients alternately

drop spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet

bake 375º 10 minutes
