2 cups elbow macaroni
2 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon margarine or butter
Croutons

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Cook the macaroni in boiling, salted water until tender. Drain and add butter.
Pour into small casserole dish. Combine 1 1/2 cups of cheese with cream of chicken soup, salt, pepper and macaroni. Top with remaining cheese. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the macaroni is firm and the top is golden brown. Add croutons and bake an additional five minutes.

One of my all time favorites, I eat macaroni and cheese whenever possible. I love it homemade, thick and gooey with lots of sharp cheddar cheese!
