Directions:1. Preheat oven to 375. Grease a large baking sheet and set aside 2. In a large skillet, brown sausage for about 5 minutes. Discard/drain fat and add onions, bell peppers, and jalepenos. Cook, stirring until very soft, 4-5 min. 3. Add the garlic and Italian seasoning and cook, stirring for one min. Remove from heat and cool. 4. Punch down dough and divide in half. On a lightly floured surface, roll out half of the dough to a large rectangle-10x14in. Spread half of the cooled sausage mixture across the dough LEAVE A ONE INCH BORDER. 5. Layer additional meats (pepperoni, ham) overlapping slightly with provolone, mozzarella and olives. 6. Using a pastry brush, paint the border of 1 long edge with egg wash. Starting from the opposite long end without egg wash, roll up the dough into a cylinder, pinching the edges to seal. Place on a prepared backing sheet and repeat with the remaining ingredients. 7. Let the dough rise 20-30 min. 8. Brush the top of each Stromboli with egg wash. Bake until nearly completely golden brown and starting to crisp-approx. 20 min. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and return to oven to melt on the dough and golden brown-5 min. 9. Let stand 10 min before serving. |
