I would call this "MAKE ONE and SHARE ONE" because it makes 2 casseroles

1 pkg (16 oz) farfalle (bow-tie) pasta

1/4 cup butter

1 onion, chopped

1 pkg (16 oz) frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, corn, green beans, peas)(I could not find 16 oz size, so I used the 24 oz size & got more veggies in casseroles)

6 Tbsp. flour (I used self rising)

(2) cups milk (I use skim)

2 pkg (7.5 oz each Oscar Mayer Carving Board Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, chopped). (I used 2 cans Sam's chicken breasts, drained)

2 cans (10 3/4 oz) reduced-sodium condensed cream of chicken soup (I used 2 cans of lower fat Campbell's cream of chicken soup but not reduced sodium)

1 cup Sour Cream (I used Kroger reduced fat)

1 pkg (8 oz) Kraft Shredded Three Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º

Cook pasta as directed on package. Recipe says to omit salt. (I think it would have tasted more flavorful to add some salt to pasta)

Meanwhile, melt butter in Dutch oven or large deep skillet on medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir 4 min. or until crisp-tender. Add frozen vegetables; cook 4 min. or until thawed, stirring frequently. Stir in flour until blended; cook and stir 1 min. Gradually stir in milk; bring to boil. Cook and stir 2 min. or until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in turkey, soup and sour cream.

Drain pasta. Add to sauce; stir until evenly coated. Spoon into 2 (13 x 9 inch) pans sprayed with cooking spray; top with cheese. Cover.

Bake 30 min. or until heated through, uncovering for the last 10 min.

Freezer friendly tip: These casseroles can be mixed together ahead of time. Wrap tightly and freeze up to 3 months. When ready to serve, thaw in refrigerator overnight then bake as directed. Or, bake from frozen covered for 1 hour 20 min or until heated through, uncovering for the last 10 min.

Personal Notes:
This casserole was made for a Bunco party I attended. She served rolls and a salad with it. Since it has meat, pasta and vegetables - it can easily be a one dish meal. It needed just a little salt for my taste, however if I had salted the noodles I think it would have been perfect. Everyone raved about the casserole. (The one I tasted had a turkey breast baked and shredded. I opted for the cans of Sam's chicken and it was just as good).
