8 c. assorted berries
1st set of ingredients:
1/3 c. flour
2 T sugar
1/2 tsp,. cinnamon
1/4. tsp. nutmeg
Topping
1c. flour
1 1/4 c rolled oats
1 c. brown sugar (packed)
1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. cold butter

Directions:

Heat oven to 350º. Combine 1st set of ingredients.Put berries in a large bowl. Gently fold in the 1st set if ingredients. Put aside to marinate while making the topping.Combine all topping ingredients except the butter. Cut the cold butter into small pieces. With your hands, rub butter into the topping mixture until it resembles course cracker crumbs. Butter a 7x11 oven proof casserole dish. Pour 1/2 the berry mixture into the dish. Sprinkle with 1/4 of the topping mixture. Pour the rest of the berries over the topping. Put the rest of the topping over the berries. Bake for approximately 45 min. to 1 hour until the berries start to bubble up on the sides. Allow the crisp to cool about 5 minuets to set before serving. Always serve warm with either whip cream topping or ice cream.
