2 cups butter or margarine, softened
1 lb. block sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 - 2 tsp. ground red pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika

Directions:
Directions:
1. Beat butter & shredded cheddar cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended.
2. Add flour & remaining ingredients, beating until blended.
3. Cover dough & chill 2 hours.
4. Shape dough into 4 (8 inch) logs; cover and chill 8 hours.
5. Cut into 1/4 inch slices & place on ungreased baking sheet.
6. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool.
7. Store in an airtight container.
