2 large cans of blueberry pie filling
1 box of yellow cake mix
8 oz (by weight) of Mountain Dew

Directions for Charcoal:
Fill charcoal chimney 3/4 of the way full with charcoal.
Wad up newspaper, light on fire, under the charcoal chimney.
Charcoal is ready when it is red-hot and not smoking.

Directions for Cake:
Line Dutch oven with aluminum foil.
Empty cans of pie filling into the Dutch oven.
Dump cake mix onto pie filling, and don't mess with it.
Pour Mountain Dew on top of everything.
Put lid on Dutch Oven.
Pour half the charcoal on the ground or on a piece of stone.
Put Dutch oven on top of the coals that you dumped on the ground.
Place the remainder of the coals on top of the Dutch oven, evenly.
Leave to bake for 10 minutes, and then check every 5 minutes until just under
golden brown on top.
Allow to cool, and serve with ice cream if desired.
