1 stick of butter

Place ear of corn on top of the stick of butter and roll until corn is buttered.

Mother would scold Marion for buttering his corn that way. It was quick and easy, but it messed up the butter.

Some evenings we would come in from chopping cotton and Daddy would pick corn. The corn patch was almost in our back yard. We cleaned and cooked the corn and that was our supper. It was so good,
I'm sure Patsy and Mary Denise have corn stories because Uncle Marvin always had a big corn patch.
