Personal Notes:
I don't know if this is the same recipe, but I remember Grandma Loran always had a similar dish in the refrigerator when we came to visit. She always used a special dish for her lime jello salad. It was a glass loaf dish with a glass lid. The lid and sides of the dish were decorated with pieces of fruit which were molded in the glass. I've had this dish many times, but my first memory is of the special glass dish of lime jello salad at Grandma and Grandpa Loran's house. I'm sure Grandma used whipped cream from freshly milked cows, not Cool Whip. Berta Loran Pilkington.
