Marinated Pork Tenderloin Recipe

1/4 c. Soy sauce
1/4 c. Packed grown sugar
2 T. Sherry
1 1/2 tsp. Dried minced onion
1 tsp. Ground cinnamon
2 T. Olive oil
1 pinch garlic powder
2 (3/4 pound) pork tenderloins

Directions:
Directions:
Place soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, dried onion, cinnamon, olive oil, and a touch of garlic powder in a resealable plastic bag. Seal and shake to mix. Place pork in bag with marinade, seal and refrigerate for 6-12 hours.
If grilled:
Preheat grill for high heat.
Lightly oil grate. Place tenderloins on grill. Cook for 20 minutes or to desired doneness.
If cooked in oven:
Put a little oil in bottom of oven-ready pan. Brown all sides of tenderloin. Place pan in oven set at 350º for about 25 minutes.
Slice meat into medallions. Serve with gravy, if desired.

Pork should be cooked to 160 for medium.

This recipe can be either grilled or cooked in the oven. It came from allrecipes.com but has some adjustments. You can use the marinade to make a gravy by boiling it and then simmer until it thickens. You can use a little cornstarch to make it thicker. We made it in the oven and it was delicious.
