¾ cup sugar
¼ cup butter
½ tsp salt
¼ cup shortening
2 eggs, separated
2 1/3 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk
1 cup blueberries

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter, and shortening. Add yolks (only). Put all dry ingredients together – reserve ½ cup dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients and alternate with milk. Beat egg whites till stiff. Combine blueberries and ½ cup reserved dry ingredients and fold into batter. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
