1 cup long grain white rice
2 cups water or chicken stock
1 T butter
1 T minced onions
1 tsp salt
1 small pinch saffron,crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
place butter and minced onion in heavy qt sauce pan. Saute over medium heat. Add water or stock, saffron and stock, bring to a boil. cover, reduce to simmer until rice done (18 min)
