1 c chopped pecans
1 yellow cake mix
1 sm box instant vanilla pudding (4 serving size)
4 eggs
1/2 c water
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/2 c rum

GLAZE
1/2 c unsalted butter (1 stick)
1/4 c water
1 c sugar
1/2 c rum

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325º. Grease and flour angel food cake pan or bundt pan. Sprinkle nuts on the bottom. Combine all cake ingredients. Beat for 2 minutes on high with electric mixer. Pour into pan and bake for 1 hour. Cool in pan for about 15 min. invert on a serving plate. Prepare glaze.

2. Glaze - Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in water and sugar. Boil 5 min., stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in rum carefully...a little at a time. It will boil up so be careful. Prick top of cake with a fork and soon glaze over the top and brush on sides. Allow cake to absorb glaze and repeat till completely used. Glaze when cake is still warm.
