Ingredients:

1 kg mince meat
3 1/2 c. tomato sauce (1 tin tomato paste + 2 1/2 c. water)
3 1/2 c. kidney beans (cooked)
3 1/2 c. pinto beans (cooked)
1 onion, diced
3 tomatoes, chopped
2 tsp. cumin
1 tbsp. chili powder (or to taste preference)
1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. salt
2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat and onions. Drain off fat.
Combine meat with all other ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 hours stirring occasionally.

My husband Vince played around with the recipe and now adds oregano, basil, celery leaves, garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, sugar and beef bouillon cubes in whatever quantities he feels like.
