1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 c. onions, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
6 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. black beans, cooked
4 c. chicken, cooked and shredded
1 c. tomatoes, chopped and seeded
Juice of 2 limes
Salt and pepper to taste
Cliantro, garnish
Avocado, garnish
Lime, garnish
Feta, garnish
Fried tortilla strips, garnish
Green onion, garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Heat saucepan over medium, and add butter and olive oil. Add onion and cook until translucent. Add garlic and cook just to release flavor, 1 minute. Add broth, cumin, cinnamon, chili powder. Bring to boil, then reduce heat, simmer for 10 minutes. Then, add the beans and chicken and cook another 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and lime juice, season with salt and pepper, and remove from heat.
Tortilla strips: Heat 4 T. oil over medium in a skillet, add small batches from 2 tortillas that have been cut to 1"x5" strips. Don't crowd the pan, cook 3 minutes on each side (or less - take out before brown), till golden. Remove with slotted spoon to paper towel.
