Cinnamon candies
Sugar to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Core desired number of apples desired. Pare apples. Put in pan with just enough water to float apples. To each 2 c. water add 1/3 c. red cinnamon candy and enough sugar to taste. Place on heat. DO NOT BOIL. Cook slowly untl tender. Turn often to absorb color. If water is not red enough, add a few drops of red coloring.

Save the juice. Store in fridge, can be used over and over by adding more water, sugar, and candies.

To safe cooking time-cut apples in halves or quarter.
