1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. diced green chilies or peppers
1 c. tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 can Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits
1 1/2 c. shredded Monterrey jack or Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
In a pan, brown beef, onions, and chilies; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder, and garlic salt. Simmer while preparing the dough.
Pull apart each biscuit in half and press one layer on the bottom of the un-greased casserole dish. In a bowl, combine 1/2 cheese, sour cream, and egg; mix well. Remove meat mixture and stir in the sour cream mixture; spoon over dough. Arrange remaining biscuit layers on top and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 375º for 25 to 30 minutes.
