1 cup yellow corn meal
½ teaspoon soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 eggs
½ cup. Wesson oil
1 cup chopped onion
1 clove chopped garlic
1 can yellow cream style corn
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
2 or 3 chopped jalapeno peppers

Combine all ingredients and pour into a well greased shallow pan (cookie sheet with sides) bake 400º about 30 minutes or until well browned. Cool a few minutes and cut into 1 ½ to 2 inch squares and lift from pan with a spatula.
