Meatballs:
1 lb. ground meat
Breadcrumbs
eggs
grated Parmesan Cheese
1-1/2 tsp. grated nutmeg

Sauce:
1 stick of butter/margarine
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a bowl
Roll into balls
Roll each ball into grated Parmesan Cheese and flatten into a disc
Dip ball in egg wash
Dip into seasoned bread crumbs
Saute in EVOO

Sauce:
In a large pot, cook butter, tomato sauce and water.
Cook for about 30 minutes
Place meatballs in a baking dish and cover with sauce and bake for approximately 30 - 45 minutes.

This has to be one of my favorite dishes that my Mom would make. She made these on special occasions when the family would get together. It reminds me of all the fun we had gathering around during the holidays.
