1½ cups brown sugar
1½ cups water
1 cup white sugar
½ cup nuts ( either pecans or walnuts)
½ cup dates, cut small
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve brown sugar and water in an iron skillet.

Mix together all other ingredients.

Pour in center of skillet. Bake 325º for 1 hour.

Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
