2 cups diced raw rhubarb
2 cups flour
2 Cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg,
1 t soda, dash of salt
1/2 t cinnamon
1 cup sour milk or buttermilk
1 t vanilla
Topping
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup chopped nuts
1/2 t cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix rhubarb with 1/2 cup of the sugar in recipe, Set aside
Cream shortening and remaining 1-1/2 cups of sugar.
Add egg, beat. Add milk and vanilla. Beat thoroughly
Add flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Beat 2 minutes
Fold in rhubarb mixture.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan
Sprinkle topping mixture evenly over top of cake
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
