¼ lb. butter
½ cup Crisco shortening
½ cup confectioners sugar
1tbs vanilla
1 tsp almond extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
½ cup ground nuts.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and shortening.
Add sugar gradually and cream well.
Beat in flavorings.
Add flour and salt.
Blend in nuts.

Shape into small balls.
Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet in a slow oven, 325 degrees.
Bake for about 25 minutes.
Cool slightly and dust with confectioners sugar.
