1 medium onion
350 grams fresh mushrooms
1 cup heavy cream (whipping cream)
2˝ cups milk
2 Tbsp chicken soup base
salt and pepper to taste
2-3 Tbsp cornstarch
1-2 Tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Chop onion and slice mushroom finely. In a large sauce pan, fill to half with water and bring to boil. Add salt, pepper and soup base.
In a frying pan put butter, mushrooms and onions. Sauté until cooked, not too brown. Add to boiling water. Cook for a few minutes. Turn heat down. In large measuring cup, put cream and milk in microwave for 4-5 minutes (until hot). Add to soup and simmer for few minutes. Add cornstarch and simmer until soup thickens. Add additional salt or pepper as desired.
