2 onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
˝ kg (1 lb) ground beef
˝ kg (1 lb) beef sirloin, cut in thin strips
1 can peeled and diced tomatoes with juice
1 bottle dark beer
1 cup coffee
2 small cans tomato paste
1 can beef broth
˝ cup packed brown sugar
3 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp cumin seeds
1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp canola oil
4 cans kidney beans
1 fresh chili pepper, seeded and chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until onion is tender and golden brown. Set aside. Brown ground beef and sirloin strips until no longer pink. Using a large pot over low heat, combine sautéd onions, garlic, ground beef and sirloin. Add tomatoes with juice, dark beer, coffee, tomato paste and beef broth. Season with brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, cocoa powder, oregano, cayenne pepper, coriander and salt. Stir in 2 cans of beans and chopped chili pepper. Cook for 1˝ hours. Stir in remaining cans of beans and simmer for another 30 minutes.
